Beneath the gleaming sky and stars
Moon beams ignite my muse and sage
And there I sit again with another empty page
I swing my pen and spin some words
And get swept away into an all-new world
A world where my anxiety is at bay
A world where my imagination works up its most admirable way
Here words aren't spoken to scar others
Here they are strung into mellifluous symphonies
Here shadows don't haunt and scare people
Here they are written about as beautiful forms
Of angelic creations of the lord
Here darkness is not spoken in terms of absence of light
But rather linked with the bewitching beauty of the night sky
Here i sink into my own treasury
Charm within my sole presence
And inhale the scent of the night's sublime allure
For in this world exists no pain
No dystopia to pull my thoughts back into vain
And up until I keep marking those crisp sheets with ink
Time would cease
No seconds would exist
No hours would matter
Nothing in this universe would break or shatter
So, this is where poetry takes one
Somewhere away from the darkness and into the light
Somewhere into a world where time and space shall warmly embrace
At their own quiet and blissful pace
She got dark circles beneath her eyes,
There is a tint of pain in her smile,
But who cares?
She is getting straight A's.
She stopped all the things she loved the most,
Like drawing, writing poems, songs and even proses,
Because a 100 on a test,
Is worth so much more than herself.
No one cares about her accomplishments,
But they do care about her marks on a maths test.
She is not counted as a winner,
But one seventy-nine? Guess she is a loser.
And sometimes, late at night, I wonder,
Would it all matter?
If I don't wake up tomorrow morning.
Would my marks save me from dying?
I won't say studies are completely inutile,
But can you give me a break from "Loser. You got an eighty-nine."
I swear I try, I try my best,
But I can't help but get nervous during the test.
I guess I will have to live with this feeling of never doing enough,
Because all I ever do is fail and fail till, I have given up.
Academic pressure is now eating into my happiness,
But I swear; and I swear, I really am trying my best.
Every kind act,
Whether big or small,
Is like a stone thrown into the water
With no idea how deep it can fall.
You don't know what a kind gesture can do,
It might make someone smile
And they will remember you
For the rest of their life.
It might make someone's day,
And erase all their worry and dismay.
Kindness makes the world a better place
So be kind whenever possible
And you might put a smile on someone's face.
Kindness creates a joyful life,
It boosts confidence and optimism
and helps you sleep better at night!
You get what you give,
Whatever you sow, you reap,
So to finish
Kindness is bliss,
Be kind whenever possible
As the mark it leaves is indelible!
A star today is leaving our school,
A book of wisdom, a star so beautiful.
We try to make this day as special as it can be.
And make this day for her as warm and as comfortable as tea.
Her strictness for us is a golden key
Her love for us is as sweet as honey.
That cannot be measured with any gold or money!
Today we convey our gratitude to her
And we wish a long life to her.
And now that the time has come
And it’s time for her to leave this school
Her long years of hard work are now over
Blessings of love on her may God shower.
