The National Education Policy 2020 heralded the potentially explosive growth of vocational education in the country. Vocational education, also known as career or technical training, is the preparation given to learners related to a specific trade and focuses on a learner-centric environment. Keeping in mind the importance of Vocational Education and the requirements of NEP 2020, Little Flower School has decided to initiate the following vocational training courses for our students of 6 to 8. They are:

Horticulture, Artificial Intelligence, Designing, Mass Media, Handicrafts, Electrical technology and Automobile Technology.

To ensure that our students garner the maximum from this, a team of resource persons have been invited, each specializing in their own domains to guide our students as they embark on this enriching journey.

Diamond Jubilee

It is said that jubilees are milestones on the journey of life. Every celebration is an experience, the external fades away, but the internal lingers and echoes in the depth of our hearts.

Our hearts are filled with gratitude and joy as we recalled the path that Little Flower School has travelled in these 60 years (1962 – 2022). We thank the Almighty for accompanying us in marvelous ways through these years and changing the lives of many young students. The school owes its humble beginning to Fr.M.Kavanagh, S.J., the Sisters of Mercy, and the Sisters of St.Joseph of Cluny who continue to carry out the mission and vision of the school till date. The founders and past Principals, Vice Principals and staff faced several challenges that arose along the years, and lent strength to the school through their dedicated service.

Established in 1962 with the basic aim of disseminating knowledge, and creating men and women of character, the school has come a long way since then. History is witness to significant milestones and groundbreaking achievements over the years, leading to Little Flower School attaining the 2 nd rank in the steel city.

The year-long celebrations in commemoration of the Diamond Jubilee which commenced on 17 th January 2021, culminated in a splendid closing ceremony on 14 th January 2022. This event, along with the amazing activities carried out during the commemorative year were captured aptly on camera, and the mesmerizing videos were released online on 17 th January 2022.
