Our motto “Knowledge, Truth, Love” is at the heart of everything we do at school. We aim to not just impart knowledge to the students, but also to inculcate in them trust, honesty, loyalty, sincerity and compassion. We have a strong multi-cultural student population; therefore, the children are taught the importance of tolerance and respect for each other’s culture. Discipline, values and integrity are the very basis of this school.
We are God’s beloved children and He delights in us!
We are facing the worst ever global crisis in our life time. The rapid spread of the virus Covid-19 has left humankind feeling powerless in the face of its onslaught. The explosion of the virus has made us realize that we humans have forgotten that we are interconnected and interdependent. Assuming we are the lords of creation, we subjugated the earth, plundered nature and exploited our fellow human beings. We fought in the name of religion, caste, colour and ethnicity. Today this public health crisis has exposed the deep fissures in our relationship with the Almighty, fellow humans and the earth.
One cannot pick up a newspaper or glance at a news website today without reading about the hardships of our global society. In every corner of our world, we find poverty, war, disease, famine, and children suffering.
At Christmas, we remember and rejoice at Christ’s coming to a weary world. Our faith teaches us that we must have trust in Divine Providence. We must be a “thrill of hope” to the poor, to those living in war, those affected by disease and famine, and to all children who are our most precious resource. Let us strive to be that thrill of hope to our neighbours and friends. This Christmas, I pray that we can all see through the stress and uncertainty of these times, and be thankful for the ultimate gift of the Son of God. I pray that each member of our school community has the strength to face the challenges in our daily lives. Nothing can take the joy of the Christmas season away from us. So worship… decorate… hug your children and let your faith be seen in your actions.
I wish you a very Holy Christmas and Happy New Year. May the Blessed Mother watch over you and your loved ones this sacred season.
Be safe, stay healthy. We look forward to learning and growing with your children in 2024!
